This policy explains what personal data Travel Africa in Miniature (“we”) collects through https://bamendacameroon.site/ and how we use it.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address and message, so we can reply.
• Business (vendor) accounts: username, email, business name, password (stored encrypted) and the listing details and photos you submit.
• Technical data: our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security.
• Your location (optional): only if you press “Near me” on a map. It stays in your browser to sort results and is not sent to us.

Third-party services

• Google Maps shows our interactive maps. Google receives your IP address and may set cookies. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Google Fonts serves the site’s typefaces.
• Booking partners (Stay22, Booking.com, Expedia Group, GetYourGuide, Viator and others) receive you when you click a booking link. Their own privacy policies then apply, and they may use cookies to credit us with your booking.

Google Analytics (only if you choose Accept all on the cookie notice) collects anonymised information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your approximate location and your device type, so we can see how the site is used. See Google’s privacy policy.

How long we keep data

Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months. Vendor accounts are kept while active; ask us and we will delete your account and listings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or Canada’s PIPEDA), you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it.
