About Travel Africa in Miniature

Our story

We started this guide out of a deep pride in the cultural richness and landscapes of Cameroon. Our mission was simple: give travellers one clear, trustworthy place to discover the best of the country — and give local businesses a way to be found.

What we do

We research and list things to do, places to stay and restaurants across all ten regions, pin each one on the map, and link to trusted partners so you can book safely. We are honest about prices, seasons and safety, including where governments currently advise against travel.

How we're funded

The guide is free to use. Some booking links are affiliate links: if you book through them, the provider may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes our ratings. Read our affiliate disclosure.

Working with local businesses

Hotels, restaurants, guides and tour operators can list their business for free. Every submission is reviewed before it goes live.
